Increased Performance - but Doubles Noise Level
When I installed this, in the '78 Free Spirit Deluxe, 1hp model, I noticed an increased performance. Mostly increased throttle response, better acceleration. The drawback is that the noise from the engine now is much louder, by as much as double. It fits easily under the side cover of a Free Spirit. It is smaller than the stock air filter/silencer. I'm going to try to work out some kind of baffle for it to see if I can reduce the noise output. בס'ד
