Product Description
Stock style intake from the Targa LX but with 15mm internal diameter instead of 14mm. Upgrade yours or use it on other Tomos models that has the hard to access straight intake. Works with the stock 14.12 SHA carburetor as well as the 15mm and 16mm. You may need to change your carburetor shim depending on the size you are using. Comes with oil injection hole. You can plug it easily with a screw or thread in a barb to run oil injection and even nitrous. It is not recommended using your oil injection if you upgrade to a larger size cylinder.

A STEP UP FROM STOCK 12MM INTAKE
Compared to my stock, which still had casting flaws that restricted air flow through the intake, this 15mm intake is clean out properly removing cast flaws and is larger than stock by ~25%. I had also purchased a 15:15 SHA cloned carb. Using a 62 jet and and Tomos stock exhaust I was able to bump my top speed from 30mph to 35 mph on level ground. I could upjet to 64 but I sacrifice top end speed for better take off with this particular carburetor and my objective is top end speed. Can't wait to see what a performance exhaust would do for the top end and the proper main jet of course. Hoping to achieve 40 mph.
