Why paint a sprocket white?
The paint was a bit bizarre as it adds more weight and a bit more thickness all around, not to mention it's white...and will turn black in no time at all. Aside from that, you *will* need to grind your case for this sprocket. Some sites claim that this is as large as you can go without grinding. That's not the case with this 27T front sprocket. The sprocket, itself, will fit and spin mostly ok without grinding...put the chain on and it's a different story :) Other than that, functions exactly as it should!

White is not cool.
Yeah, I know that the description says piece may be coat. Mine is white. Who paints sprockets white? They get greasy and will look like crap in about 2 minutes. Besides that, looks like it will work for my A55. I had to grind the cases to get it to fit with the chain. Sounds simple but there isn't a lot of meat on the top case. Go slow and don't go through your case if you can help it.

easy to do, more fun o ride.
Easy upgrade to say the least. Simple way to increase speed. I feel I get a little bit more out of each gear and the hills are a lil tiny bit easier. I ride a targa lx and it seems to be rolling a modest amount faster. My sproket came painted white, i like it, Thank you.
